The Salvation Army launched the Lai See Day fund-raising program during Lunar New Year as to promote the spirit of care and share.

All people of Hong Kong were encouraged to share their Chinese New Year blessings with the needy by contributing some of their Lai See money to the program.

ISO/TS 16949 Approval

To achieve the toughest of international automotive standard, Time Interconnect has got the ISO/TS 16949 approval.

ISO/TS16949:2002 is established by IATF (International Automotive Task Force) on Mar 14, 2002. The foundation is ISO9001:2000 and integrated the requirement from QS-9000:1998 (USA), VDA6.1:1999(Germany), EAQF:1994 (French) and AVSQ:1995 (Italy).

The objective of implementing ISO/TS16949 is:
continuing improvement on the supply chain
emphasize the preventive planning
reduce the deviation and wastage
enhance the traceability performance

This standard emphasizes early stage planning and the preventive action. Through out the project management, failure analysis, we have to implement controlling program over the design stage and production stage.

811 Denim Day

Cheung Chuk Shan College visit Cabletech Factory

Cheung Chuk Shan College has about 35 teachers and students visited Cabletech factories in July 10, 2006. The activity provided the opportunity to the students to have an understanding of Hong Kong industrial enterprises in Guangdong Province and the importance of green manufacturing.

This is the School-Business Partnership program of Education and Manpower Bureau. The new academic year program will be launched from September 2006.

RCSC program for RoHS regulation

To achieve the commitment to be one of environmental friendly cable assembly manufacturers in the global markets, our company is undertaking with the RCSC program (Restricted Substances Compliance Solutions) in Underwriter Laboratories Inc from one year ahead of RoHS's valid date (July 1st, 06). This program ensures all of our products free from hazardous substances and then aim at fulfilling RoHS regulation, with the following chemicals:

Lead (Pb)
Cadmium (Cd)
Mercury (Ag)
Chromium VI (Cr VI)
Polybrominated Biphenyl (PBB)
Polybrominated Diphenyl Ether (PBDE)

We believe that the RSCS program is a powerful combination of services unmatched in the market place. The program comprises of four parts:

Testing of materials, components and subassemblies
Surveillance of manufacturing facilities and processes
Audit of manufacturing facilities
Database for compliance monitoring and sourcing

Recently, we have already got the approval of few main products from the RSCS program, and will continue to apply more products for further testing. As a result, our environment could be protected and we could enjoy living in a “Green” world.

GPMS System for RoHS regulation

Most manufacturers worldwide are concerning the impact of RoHS regulation of their product. For that purpose, we are affiliated with SGS, HK to setup a brand new system called "Green Product Management System – GPMS", to meet the RoHS target, not only in product itself, but also the whole material control system to regulate the restricted substance in our production workflows.

Fortunately, we are taking the step forward to meet RoHS via GPMS since Sept.,2005. By following the GPMS to make our products, we make the world looks more "Green".
